Cold Son's Percolater opens with the steady, mellow-guitar- driven title track. The EP continues with the upbeat, funky grooves of On the Way and the melodic, hook-filled Susan, and ends with the bolder more upbeat Codes. The guitar and vocals keep the songs flowing smoothly. Being short and to-the-point works well, if you do it the way Cold Son does.
